The Hood Engineering Q hitch has been designed to reduce time and cost for its user. Many farms now have both a tractor and a loader or handler and each have to have separate implements to suit.

The Q hitch can be manufactured with a headstock to suit your handler or loader. It can be fitted on the front or rear three point linkage of your tractor and will enable you to use all your loader or handler attachments on your tractor – therefore cutting down on the requirement (and cost) of having two implements to do the same job. It makes your tractor more versatile as you can use your loader implements that you may not previously have been able to attach to your tractor.

Safety has been a key concern as part of our design process. For this reason the Q hitch can be operated without leaving the comfort of your tractor seat. The implement locking mechanism is available in both manual and hydraulic options. Use of the hydraulic locking mechanism with the hitch will require two spool valves. Additional hydraulics can be fitted to the hitch for any secondary operations required by the user e.g. bale shear, push-off buckrake, etc.

The Hood Engineering Q hitch is available with Matbro pin and cone, Merlo, Quicke, Manitou and JCB headstocks – with others available on request.
